Alìpinta
Superior Vermentino of Gallura DOCG
The Wine
Our Bianco Vermentino DOCG di Gallura born near Costa Paradiso, nestled in that part of Gallura bordered to the west by the Coghinas river and its artificial lake and to the south by the southern slopes of Limbara; the granite and sandy rocks of the coast face the islands of Caprera and La Maddalena, surrounded by a crystalline sea that enhances a unique, fascinating scenario. The twelve hectares of the estate are immersed in an uncontaminated environment from which a quality organic wine is born, with particular characteristics that allow it to boast the controlled and guaranteed designation of origin DOCG, the only one in Sardinia. The vineyard grows on a ridge of soil rich in sand, small pumice stones, and fine deconstructed clays, in which trace elements, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese abound; the wines obtained from the grapes produced on these soils are able to amaze for the richness and complexity of the aromas accompanied by an interesting and elegant structure. The composition of the soil and the temperate and windy climate, in fact, contribute to expressing a white wine with a brilliant straw yellow color, intense and pleasant, with floral and fruity notes, often accompanied by hints of citrus and aromatic herbs, from dry to sweet, with good acidity and slight sapidity. The maximum expression of our Vermentino is obtained with vinification in purity and practicing manual viticulture without stress on the rows: we have chosen to enhance biodiversity through interactions between the various genotypes, in search of complexity and connections that must be understood as a harmonious.
Our Alipinta fermented in stainless steel, followed by an additional month in bottle.
On the nose, it recalls floral and fruity notes, often accompanied by hints of citrus and aromatic herbs, from dry to sweet, with good acidity and slight sapidity. This Vermentino DOCG stands out for its persistence and complexity, evoking memories of the sea while also offering the elegant and fresh notes of a great mountain wine.
