Alìpinta
Vermentino of Gallura DOCG
The Wine
In Gallura, the wind never stops. It glides across the granite rocks, caresses the vines, picks up the scent of the sea, and carries it to the grapes. It is in this balance of sun, stone, and salt that the Vermentino di Gallura DOCG – 12.5% vol. is born, a wine that expresses Sardinia through the language of light and wind.
The vines are rooted in poor, hard soil, yet it is precisely from this hardness that they draw their richness. The grapes ripen slowly, caressed by the brilliant sun of the island's northeast, and when they reach the right balance, they are harvested to create a white wine unlike any other.
In the glass, it shines straw yellow, with green highlights reminiscent of the first leaves of spring. The nose offers a mosaic of aromas: thirst-quenching citrus, refreshing white flowers, and Mediterranean herbs that evoke strolls through the scrubland and the sea. On the palate, it is lively and vibrant, with an enveloping freshness and a savory finish that evokes granite and distant horizons. The balanced 12.5% vol. makes it elegant, harmonious, and highly drinkable, perfect for both a carefree toast and a dinner celebrating the meeting of land and sea.
Every sip is a journey: to bays of pale sand, windswept cliffs, sunsets that paint the sea gold and amber. This is a wine that doesn't simply accompany a meal: it invites you to pause, to listen to the voice of an ancient land, to rediscover the essence of a wild and authentic landscape in your glass.
Vermentino di Gallura DOCG – 12.5% vol. is more than just a wine. It's a fragment of Sardinia that you carry with you, a liquid memory of sea and granite, a promise of freshness and freedom.
